TÝR: Video Interview Posted Online

Zoran of Capital Chaos conducted an interview with Heri Joensen (guitar, vocals) of the Faroe Islands pagan metal band TÝR on May 7, 2008 at The Boardwalk in Orangevale, California. Watch the six-minute chat below.

TÝR's new album, "Land", was released on May 30 (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy),June 2 (rest of Europe) and June 10 (North America). According to the band, the follow-up to 2006's "Ragnarok" "contains mostly Faeroese, but also Icelandic and Norwegian traditionals, re-arranged into heavy metal. The second most prevalent language is English." The CD was recorded at Jacob Hansen's (RAUNCHY, ROB ROCK, HATESPHERE, MERCENARY) studio in Ribe, Denmark.
